1:1 + Group Coaching for Stepmoms

A Supportive, Non-Judgmental Space to Get Clear on What You Want

Understand your stepfamily's dynamics. Build practical strategies. Navigate stepmotherhood with more confidence and less overwhelm.

You Can Care About Your Family without Losing Yourself in the Process.

You've read the articles. You've vented to a friend who tried to relate but couldn't fully understand. Something isn't working, with your partner, with your stepkids, with how much of yourself you've quietly handed over to keep the peace.

The Gap Between Knowing and Doing

But knowing that hasn't helped you figure out what to actually do differently. What you need isn't more insight. It's an actionable plan.

That's the gap coaching is built for.

Coaching is a good fit if you're looking to:

  • Get clear on your role and what you're not responsible for fixing

  • Set boundaries that actually stick, without losing the relationships that matter to you

  • Communicate with your partner about parenting, expectations, and what you need

  • Stop overfunctioning the exhausting job of trying to keep everyone else happy

  • Navigate the other household and custody transitions with a plan instead of dread

Hi, I’m Lilly Gibson

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but coaching isn't therapy. It's the more practical, forward-facing side of what I do. I built this specifically for stepmoms who don't necessarily need to process the past, they need a clear plan for right now.

For Stepmoms, By a Stepmom

My approach comes from my own stepmom playbook, the one I had to build myself because it didn't exist yet. Most stepmoms never get support designed specifically for this role. Until now.

You don't have to keep figuring out stepmotherhood on your own.

Two Ways to Work Together

Every stepmom's situation is different, which is why coaching is never one-size-fits-all. Choose the level of support that fits where you are right now.

Group coaching is a good fit if you're looking for:

  • Support from other stepmoms who understand, without having to explain the backstory

  • Practical strategies you can apply at home

  • Guidance around boundaries, communication, and relationships

  • Accountability and encouragement as you make changes

Deciding between stepmom coaching and therapy?

Here’s the difference between coaching and therapy:

Coaching starts from where you are right now and builds a concrete plan to get you somewhere better through boundaries, communication, and navigating your role. It doesn't address clinical mental health concerns like anxiety or depression, or involve processing past experiences the way therapy does. If that's more what you need, therapy might be the better starting point.

Emotional/mental health concerns

Anxiety, depression, etc.

Processing past experiences

Stepmotherhood challenges

Boundaries & communication

Practical stepfamily tools

Goal-oriented support

Questions Stepmoms Like You Ask Before Enrolling In Coaching

This Is What Getting Yourself Back Looks Like

You can care about your family without losing yourself in the process. Stepmom coaching isn't about becoming a different person, it's about building a version of this role that actually feels like yours.
