Therapy for Young Adults Navigating What’s Next

Expert support for the post-grad, quarter-life, "now what" years.

Everyone Keeps Asking "So, What's Next?" And You Wish You Knew

You graduated, or you're about to. You moved, or you moved back home and didn't expect to feel this behind. You're watching everyone else's life update in real time on your phone while yours feels like it's on pause, and some days the anxiety about all of it is loud enough that it's hard to enjoy anything you actually have.

This stage of life gets sold as exciting, but most of the time it's downright disorienting. The truth is, it's allowed to be both.

You might be here because:

  • Anxiety or low mood has started showing up more than it used to

  • A transition (school, a first job, your parents’ divorce, a move, a breakup) has knocked you off balance

  • Your family is changing shape and you're still figuring out where you fit in it

  • You're making big decisions about work, relationships, or where you live without a clear sense of what you really want

  • Patterns from your childhood keep showing up in your relationships now, and you'd like that to stop

None of that means you're behind. It usually means you're figuring out a version of adulthood nobody handed you a map for.

Hi, I'm Lilly Gibson, LMFT

Before opening my private practice, I spent years working with young adults in schools and community mental health settings. I quickly learned that this is the exact stretch of life where anxiety, identity, and big decisions all seem to show up at once. Young adulthood is territory I know well, not just from a textbook, but from sitting across from a lot of twenty-somethings figuring it out in real time.

Working together, we'll focus on:

  • Making sense of what you're feeling instead of just pushing through it

  • Building a steadier sense of identity outside of what's expected of you

  • Making decisions that feel like yours, not just the next default option

  • Setting boundaries with family, partners, and friends without the guilt spiral afterward

  • Cultivating tools for anxiety and overwhelm that hold up outside therapy sessions

You don't need a five-year plan to start. You just need one honest conversation about where you are today so you can take steps forward and build your tomorrow.

Confidently Face Whatever Comes Next

There's no timeline you're supposed to be keeping pace with as a young adult.

Instead it’s time to commit to uncovering what you truly want, so you can stop white-knuckling your way through this chapter and start building a life that feels like yours.
